Parwaaz Project: Inclusive Training and Employment in Partnership with Inditex

The Parwaaz project began as an in-house initiative at Soorty to train and employ Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) through targeted skill development and workplace integration in collaboration with NOWPDP. Its success led to recognition by international customer INDITEX, who joined as an implementation partner and integrated the project into its broader supply chain practices.

Together with INDITEX, the project now addresses systemic barriers to employment by combining hands-on training in specific trades with employer sensitization and inclusive workplace adaptation. This collaboration demonstrates the viability of structured, scalable models for disability inclusion within the textile sector and reinforces Soorty’s role in advancing equitable employment across the industry.
