Promoting Good Mental Health, for all
Soorty, in collaboration with the NGO Savaira, built the largest state-of-the-art psychiatric and behavioral science ward, in Pakistan. This institute housed at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) offers 120 beds and comprises four wards; one for male adults, one for female adults, one for substance abuse patients and a purpose-built pediatric psychiatry ward.
In addition, the institute houses a highly-qualified team of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses and social workers, working with the latest health information management systems, specifically designed for psychiatric patients to have fair access to the benefits of engaging with the institute.
Combating Hepatitis in Pakistan with The Health Foundation
Hepatitis presents a dire health crisis in Pakistan, boasting one of the world’s highest infection rates, with potentially fatal consequences if left untreated due to severe liver damage. Recognizing the urgency of this silent epidemic, Soorty, in partnership with The Health Foundation, has launched Pakistan’s largest industrial anti-Hepatitis campaign.
Under this campaign, every member of the Soorty team underwent comprehensive Hepatitis screening, with those requiring treatment receiving free medical care, highlighting Soorty’s unwavering commitment to enhancing the health and well-being of its workforce and the wider community.
Expanding Healthcare Services at JPMC
In collaboration with the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC), Soorty has contributed to the establishment of a Dermatological Ward and multiple ICUs, enhancing healthcare capabilities at the hospital.
Revolutionizing Cardiac Care with Indus Hospital
Soorty has joined hands with the Indus Hospital Health & Network to create a state-of-the-art cardiac healthcare facility. This remarkable 200-bed hospital serves the medical needs of more than 1,400 daily visitors, providing comprehensive cardiac care entirely free-of-cost.
MUSA Soorty Centre: Paediatric Care for the Community
In the heart of Karachi’s Moach Goth, a community facing significant economic challenges, Soorty has collaborated with the SINA Foundation to establish and financially support the MUSA Soorty Centre.
This center extends free pediatric healthcare services to an astounding 40,000 patients each year, making a substantial impact on the lives of those in need.
